touch-ups=)

WOW
i just can't believe that my last post was almost a month ago

life is simply blissful for now

just a lil bit of touch-ups here and there
in case you miss my story-telling:)

♡♡♡

Psychological medicine block just ended and I was like oh-so-glad!!!^^ It was a fascinating, interesting block to study, at first. However, as time goes by, I was so afraid that I will be the one who turned crazy! Not so sure about the reason why though, but reading through those psychic lecture notes did leave some subconscious impressions in your mind and you may not even know about that. Talking about subconscious, hypnosis and stuffs, well, those were quite interesting topic to read but yet, creepy...You guys can just google them if you're interested=)

And yea I haven't even mentioned about the Bipolar disorder patient that I've clerked together with my friends before CNY hols, what an awesome yet scary experience!!!@,@ Firstly, our bags were all misplaced by the those psychiatric patients in the ward. Secondly, the moment we entered psychiatric ward, we were surrounded by a crowd of patients who can't wait to talk with us, wow, 101% patient's cooperation! Thirdly, once the patient start telling you bizarre stories, you can't laugh, and you can't stop them either. Fourthly, while my friends and I were just about to leave, we were suddenly "attacked" by an aggresive patient, and trust me, that patient was catatonic, paralysed on the bed just moments before, then out of a sudden she just got up and started to attack us. Hhmmm~ I don't think Psychological medicine is my field of interest nor expertise in the future...

After finished Psychological medicine, here comes our final block before the Professional Exam2, the Reproductive block, aka O&G!!! And I was "lucky" enough to have my turn of case presentation on the very first week, without any clinical skills taught, just knowledges from seniors and books. But, what I'd like to tell you is that, Im totally in love of this posting! Talking to happy expecting mothers, examine the fetus inside their abdomen, listening to the fetal heart sound from their abdomen, and when you go visit them the next day, VOILA!!! The fetus is born, sleeping soundly next to the mother, oh how joyful!!!^^ Although O&G has always been seen as a killer posting by every seniors in clinical years, but as we're in pre-clinical year, Im enjoying myself:)

Somemore, reading about the physiological changes during pregnancy, the whole process of conception and labour...I just can't stop thinking about the beauty of this entire thing. And of course, how great is every mother on the Earth! And how infinite can be the love from parents!

The last piece of my mind that I'd like to share with you guys before Im drifting off to sleep, is on how my life has changed since Im learning meditation. "Meditation" may sounds like a religious word, but please don't get it wrong, as many people who are free-thinkers or even Muslims learn to meditate. It simply is a way to clear, calm and relax your mind, not anything related to religion.

But for me, I learnt meditation from the stream of Buddha teachings. And since then, Im feeling so much blissful, happier and peaceful than ever. Am I giving you a creep by mentioning about my religion point of view these days? Please don't, because everybody has their rights to choose their religion and Im none other special than the girl who decided to embrace and learn more about Buddha's teachings, hoping that my life will get better and so far, its working. Im simply thankful and grateful...

Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu
